Oesterle spent nearly two decades teaching at Syracuse University before returning to industry to work with musicians, athletes and brands in 2023. He launched Aux Records in 2003 as a label and has expanded to offer artist management and audience development services via short form storytelling on social media. He is a TikTok creator with over 350 million views on his original content, was a two-time finalist for the IEBA Music Business Educator of the Year and served on the board of the Music and Entertainment Industry Educator's Association (MEIEA) for 5 years. Outside of music, Oesterle, who was born without a hand, was twice the #1 physically challenged triathlete in Ironman’s All World Athlete Program globally and is a two-time National Champion in Duathlon.
