Jim Weatherson has worked in the music industry for 45 years across a wide range of experiences. He spent 17 years at Universal Music where he rose the position of Executive Vice-President of their Music and Video division. He was Worldwide General Manager of Walt Disney Records for 6 years located in Los Angeles. He relocated to Nashville, TN in 2010 to lead the management team of Taylor Swift. From there, Jim spent two years building out the artist management division for American Idol before transitioning back to the label side where he spent 6 years as General Manager for Big Machine Records in Nashville. Jim has worked directly with 500+ artists such as Taylor Swift, Reba, Elton John, Brian Wilson, James Taylor and Michael McDonald.
